King Cyrus the Great is known as one of history's first and greatest humanitarians. He reigned in the largest empire the world had ever seen, from 559 BC to 529 BC. By pursuing a policy of generosity instead of repression he was able to make his subjects into enthusiastic supporters. His character and influence has spanned throughout the world over millennia. Ted Koppel of ABC's Nightline News has said: "Cyrus the Great is genuinely one of history's towering figures. America's own founders such as Thomas Jefferson were influenced by Cyrus the Great in the field of Human Rights." We at Cyrus believe if you are in a position to help someone in need….then just do it! Jesus Christ was perhaps the greatest leader of all time and gave His own life up for all mankind. Christ’s servant leadership model reminds us that Faith, Hope and Love conquers all.

What is Cyrus International?

Cyrus International (Cyrus) is a United States 501(c)(3) non-profit public charity with a goal of helping oppressed and hurting people across the world through its HOPE projects committed to bring humanitarian aid and relief. Our core belief is not only to provide aid, but also to offer restoration, rehabilitation, and vocational training in order for these individuals to have a chance to succeed in everyday life. Our HOPE project umbrella consist of: TraffickingHOPE, OrphanHOPE, DreamHOPE, HOPE 4 HAITI as well as unexpected Disaster Relief Projects like Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav and the earthquake in Haiti. Cyrus is a vehicle for partnership with its credible proven organizations on the ground making a huge impact right at the need.

How does Cyrus effectively help oppress people through their campaigns?

The Cyrus model is built over years of experience in partnering with effective groups on the ground where the need is great. Identifying and overseeing these efforts requires empowering local people with the proper tools, guidance and resources to reach and to achieve sustainable success. For instance, in our OrphanHOPE campaign we look for organizations that work to supply water, food, clothing, shelter, and medical aid to orphans. In our TraffickingHOPE campaign, we are committed to support organizations that will provide safe houses, medical care, legal support, rehabilitation and vocational training to trafficked victims. In our DreamHOPE campaigns, we support dream centers within the inner cities of the US to help educate and train the youth and young adults of America, giving them the opportunities to succeed in life.
