There is an estimated 100 million child orphans in the world today.  The nations of Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Vietnam are just a few who have countless numbers of children facing horrors many of us have never heard of.  Once a part of society, millions of these children whose towns and villages have been ravaged by the effects of war, natural disasters and disease, now must fend for themselves.  As young as 8, there are orphans who have become the primary care provider for their younger siblings.  Many are dying of starvation, most have been sexually abused and beaten, and some have even been forced to murder and maim as child warriors.

Cyrus International, for many years, has provided faithful financial support to several humanitarian organizations dedicated to raising up and empowering local people that have a desire to help themselves and to bring change within their own society.  Supporting these people with food, medical assistance, education, and shelter facilities, the associations with which Cyrus partners are making great strides in the nations mentioned above.  Children are given an opportunity to live to see their adolescence, to receive proper emotional and physical care, and to have hope for their future.
